AMERICAN MAYOR is about a 24-year old filmmaker turned politician attempting to become mayor of his hometown. However, to achieve this, he has two obstacles: (1) seven other people want the job and (2) he doesn’t know anything about being mayor of his hometown. Watch and laugh as a first-time candidate works his way through the ropes of local politics and earns the respect of the city he grew up in.
